Today’s podcast episode is with a hardworking nurse in a community hospital on the east coast of Ireland. Two weeks ago Sage reached out to me in a social media group because she thought she was alone. What we have both learned in the intervening time period is that she is not alone. There are many medical & health professionals out there who believe in freedom and are totally against this medical mandate tyranny flourishing not just in Ireland but around the world.
Sage feels that from the moment that she made the decision to voluntarily she has been made to feel different. She has suffered the embarrassment and stress of a member of management consistently revealing her vaccination status in front of other staff, patients and patients families. She has been harassed while arrange holidays and while on holiday. The list of complaints goes on..
Laughably, this brave nurse was reprimanded in an “unofficial” manner and received very unsatisfactory and worrying representation from her union representative. This brings up a topic that I will return to again in the future: The hapless role that trade unions have played through-out this pandemic.
