Last night, I chatted with Colm a 35 year old man from Naas about his personal experiences of the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021. At the time, he was working as a sports development officer for Dublin GAA in A big GAA club in Dublin. Through these years he lost his job, girlfriend and most of his friends. Having spent years teaching children GAA skills in schools as part of his job, he found the government drive to vaccinate kids particularly hard to take and refused to go into schools that were encouraging it. You can imagine where this stance left him in his career. Great chat and thanks to Colm for sharing his story with me.
