Jaysus Gerry, there's a life after renegade for ya. Once the political malarkey is done and dusted, ya can retreat ta story and play with wonderous word. The west awake, the west awake.

Great uplifting story. Always interesting to see the inter action between the young and old. Thev have more in common that you think and one thing that unites them is they both dont give a fuck about what other people think. The positive message I got from the story is there is always better days ahead if we can hold on. It was a message I saw in a utube podcast over the christmas with a young farmer from Tipp called Maurice when he was talking, amongst many other things , about youth suicide. Best interview I saw in a long , long time.

Hey Seanie, could you post a link to that interview here? Would be a good one to share, here are so many youth wrongly deaths due to suicide and other attacks. Suicide I believe many are prompted by some ai/ internet programming. Thanks.

This is my son’s verbatim response

(I read it aloud to him just now)

“It’s a beautiful, poetic, symbolic piece.

So nicely orchestrated and articulated.

It’s all about the serenity and acceptance of letting go of your problems and embracing the unknown and the abyss with courage and grabbing a fresh start with courage and letting go of the past and being ok with the not knowing.

I was completely transported to that magical place and loved it!

Gerry should make that into a proper short story book to share it with the world.“

This could of course be any of us, most of us, almost everyone, that haven't intergrated the child & sage, infant & crone, into everyday life and carry around a chip on the back the size of a redwood constantly projecting on the woes of the world worrying on the opinions of others and their gossip not realizing it all comes from ourselves ... something like that. To become childlike and not childish in this world of distractions. History and the world are full of enlightening self reflective tales like this and fortunately we live in a time of Awakening, finally, where we have the opportunity to bere witness to a transformation of consciousness hitherto rarely seen before, enmasse.

Birth is most often painful but has it's own rewards.

"I have not come to teach but to awaken."

(you've had enough of words and now's time to live them...).

"This is what your life in illusion must experience and endure.

There is no saint that hasn't been a sinner and no sinner that isn't destined to become a Saint. Saints are my assets and sinners my liabilities and I'm continually turning my liabilities into assets."

"When The Word breaks out of my silence and speaks to your hearts telling you Who I really am then you will know that is The Word you have always been longing to hear."

Read your words with relish, clicked on your substack and you haven't written a post yet. Start.......start with that little piece above, start with whatever piece, writer or world woe touches you. I guarantee you, after ten minutes writing, you'll have pages. We all bounce off each other. I sense you should be bouncing more. So see you on the Pogo stick in '24, your blog is waiting for you. We speak, write to self - first, if only to sense make. To ripples further, must not be our concern, that's the winds job and nothing to do with the writer. Shine on Jamie. Write on - Phoeagdor.
