Finally, I find out why the VAXXED ICU rates are artificially low.

True vaccinated ICU rate much higher than official statistics.

I finally got to the bottom of something that’s been really bugging me regarding HSPC statistics in the last 8 weeks. Primarily, this constant hammering of the unvaccinated in the media and the disproportionate effect they allegedly have on hospitalizations but particularly Intensive Care Units.

This is a drum the supremo of the HSE, Paul Reid, has been beating for at least 2 months now. In a country with well over 90% of the adult population vaccinated it makes for a stark headline. Indeed, Most of the recent vilification, bullying and coercion comes from this narrative.

When it comes to HSE media narratives, my philosophy on the provided statistics from government apparatchiks is to look away from the magic trick. Try to ascertain where a sleight of hand may be occurring. So, we begin our research on the HSPC website and their recent published statistics on the period November 7th - December 4th 2021. The boiler plate headlines ( like above) are designed, in my opinion, to subliminally point you in the wrong direction.

When you ascertain that 96,289 cases were notified, in this 4 week period, and that only 47% of these were “fully vaccinated “ your brain automatically does the binary math. That must mean 53% of those case MUST be unvaccinated. As almost every one is either one or the other at this stage.

Or when they tell us 136 cases were admitted to ICU for the 4 week period and that 40% of those people were fully vaccinated that MUST mean 60% were unvaccinated.

Of course - nothing is ever that simple. When we go to the breakdown of the above boilerplate headlines things are not as clear as you might think.

As you can probably see, from the above diagram, the HSPC now have 9 different categorizations of COVID patient. The one category we are really interested in shows that NOT VACCINATED constitutes only 11.2% of the cases not the subliminally messaged 60%. Curious how the HSPC never lead with that headline isn’t it?.

Let’s also remember they use the percentage total when they are trying to hide spelling out the number. The unvaccinated number admitted into ICU is 57 people over 4 weeks. So, our health leadership believe, everyone in the country needs to put their freedom on hold when more than 50 people of from this sector of society is in ICU over a 4 week period. Weird how no-one seems to hold them to account for this attempted blackmail.

The killer statistic in this bureaucratic farce is in the final category - UNKNOWN. So almost 2 years into this pandemic our health service, in the latest 4 week period, are unable to categorise 28,076 cases. That is nearly 30% of cases in the specified time period. Embarrassing really. Now, what we can ascertain is that most probably these “Unknowns” are likely fully vaccinated. This seems to be a straightforward case of how the HSE are recording cases across two different systems. Namely, linking COVAX records with CIDR (Computerized Infectious Disease Reporting)

If we look at the data limitations attached to this report we can see that most of the limitations identified with the recording of data relate to COVAX as can be seen below from the HSPC website extract.

Now, seeing as COVAX is the HSE’s Covid vaccinations tracking system, we can surely surmise that the vast majority of these “Unknown” cases are actually vaccinated or partially vaccinated or else they wouldn’t be on the system. The problem is the timely processing of them. Their categorization as “unknown” is a loophole probably explained by the inability of the Health system to provide people with a unique health identifier across the two different data sets.

Now I choose “ health identifier” with care, as I do not believe that any health identifier should be your RSI number which is linked to revenue and nowadays with setting up a bank account. I fear though this is exactly the road we are on. Alas I digress! Let’s get back on track.

Regardless of the above, for media sources to report that only 47% of cases in that period were in vaccinated is to be willfully ignorant and involved in misleading the public. I reckon the vast majority of that 29% “unknown” rate must be vaccinated based on COVAX being the issue for their non reporting.

At this point let’s dive back into the statistics again and look at a very strange anomaly in the reported ICU statistics. It brings us to the central plank of today’s article. If we look at the statistics breakdown for vaccinated people and compare their ICU numbers with their death statistics we have the strange sight of 54 patients reporting as admitted into an ICU bed from 7 November - 4 December but in the same period 59 fully vaccinated people died.

So, we have the anomaly of 5 more deaths than ICU admissions for the same period. That seems strange does it not?

If we look at the “Unknown “ statistics we have damn near the same issue. 14 ICU admissions and 12 deaths. Now, based on that you’d imagine everyone that goes into an ICU bed in Ireland is destined to die. Except when we look at the unvaccinated cohort. 57 ICU admissions and only 17 deaths.

So what does this signify?

It signifies that people are continuing to die in nursing homes and care homes without transfer to a hospital. This seems to be the hidden scandal of this pandemic. It is the only explanation for having a surplus of deaths over ICU numbers in my opinion. Now, when you think about this it also means that ICU numbers will always skew badly for the unvaccinated.

Why?

Well, nursing home deaths are obviously not going through the intermediary step of passing thru an ICU bed, and if we couple that with the fact - all care facilities have a pretty much 100% vaccination rate - this means a badly skewed ICU rate against the unvaccinated category.

Now we need to go to a different section of the report to analyze deaths to work out exactly how bad the ICU skew might be. We know that nearly 50% of people have died outside of a hospital environment with 35% passing away in a residential institution up to December 7th 2021.

Now, we can work out the number of residential care deaths - in roughly the same time period - contained in the earlier ICU report by comparing the deaths in the report below Nov 2nd and subtracting them from the death in the report above Dec 7th. The dates aren’t an exact fit but close enough to be within a couple of deaths plus or minus.

So that totals out at 33 deaths in 4 weeks in the residential care sector. Remember our original stats from earlier - 59 deaths and 54 ICU admissions. If we subtract the 33 deaths from 59 we are left with 26 deaths that we can attribute to occurring in a hospital environment. Plus or minus one or two.

26 deaths = 54 ICU admissions. By applying a similiar metric to the ICU function that residential care facilities are in essence masking, we are missing up to 60 ICU admissions by virtue of the fact 33 deaths occurred in residential care facilities and never transferred to a hospital.

So, instead of a 41% unvaccinated ICU rate the true rate is actually a much more manageable 29%. And the true rate of ICU amongst vaccinated is really more like 58% and not 39.7% as below. And that isn’t even accounting for these “Unknowns” who must be mostly a vaccinated and partially vaccinated cohort.

If residential care patients were actually sent to a hospital when they developed serious illness instead of the lower standard of care they are receiving in care homes they would also be clogging up ICU beds. The statistics make NO allowance for this massive help nursing homes are providing to the health care system by keeping vaccinated COVID patients out of hospitals and ICU beds.

And obviously most importantly of all out of the statistics and the narrative being driven. Once again statisticians treat residential care facilities like their dirty little secret.
